Adds Fashion Watch Segment to Service

Port Washington, NY, February 16, 2012 – LGI Network, a division of The NPD Group, Inc. and the leading provider of retail market research for the watch and jewelry industry, has expanded its retailer point-of-sale tracking service (Time Tracker™) to include 25 new brands.

“We are very excited to enhance our offering to the industry and provide more value to our clients,” said Fred Levin, President of LGI Network, “Now that LGI Network is part of The NPD Group, we have greater access to point-of-sale data which has allowed us to introduce different types of information – at even more actionable levels.”

Included in the new release are 23 entry level watch brands – many commonly referred to as ‘fashion’ brands in industry parlance.  These brands represent a major portion of the institutional watch market up to $500 that was previously not represented in Time Tracker™.  New brands such as Anne Klein, Armitron, Casio, Fossil, Guess, Michael Kors, and Timex, among many others, will now be fully integrated into the Time Tracker system.

The new Time Tracker™ release went live on February 6, 2012 and includes 3 years of history to allow clients to better understand the historical dynamics of the market with these new brands being part of the service.
